you ever look into using hammond tone cabinets? They have a ton of speakers, look cool and different and can be had for dirt cheap.

Got my OR120 back, seems I have less headroom than I remember which really isn't a problem or anything. It maybe because I changed one of my preamp tubes before hand. It sounds amazing and finally getting a chance to play it through my RD. It's amazing, the way the harmonics jump out. Especially when I'm doing my manic Math Rock finger tap dance over the board. It sounds damn good.

you can always change V1 to something with a lower mu to get more headroom

That was my plan, I got a couple AT's and AU's. If not I'll put the v1 I had before as that is all I changed anyway. I just need to find that fucker.
I need to get a mic and an audio interface to get some sound clips up.

If you're not playing guitar as much, you should go ahead and bro deal me on one of those Ampegs.

Yea Ive just been busy with the kids, and work. Ive been trying to loose weight and get fit too so ive been hitting the gym. Im down 25lbs!
Its funny how the gear situation worked out. I FINALLY get a V2 (looking for one for 10 years) with a great cab and speakers......and the band falls apart. I sold my VT40 a while back and got a bass rig. Beta Bass with a great 2x10 1x15 cab. Now im on the hunt for a low wattage guitar amp since i dont get to blast my half stack as much as i want to.

What's this other hobby you speak of btw??
Good to see ya too man! Kyuss is one of my desert island bands.
I have started doing competitive pistol shooting. I shot my first gun ever last March and i started shooting in competitions this last December. Ive taken a few gun manipulation and marksmanship classes.
That has been taking up most of my free time now and most of my spending money. With the current political climate of firearms right now everything to do with firearms has skyrocketed in price.
This is me at a match last sat. Its only my 7th match i believe.

is that a vibrato or a tremolo on the intro to "asteroid" on that kyuss concert - always wondered. sounded like vibrato on the album but sounds more like trem on there.
He used a vibe of some sort. Id have to dig thru my pics and files that i had compiled over the years to give you a good answer.

I went about 3 years hardly picking it up at all. then when I started again it became more of an obsession than ever. Sometimes a break is a good thing?
Yea ive been taking it easy for about a year now. Ever since my last serious band took a shit and died. Ive started picking it up more lately, trying new tuning out. I'll see how it goes.

Good mornin folks!!!! It's snowing, the coffees hot and I had a good weekend. So I'm actually in a good mood for the first time in a while (other then slicing my thumb open cutting bagels last night, my ancestors would be so upset...). We had a great show on Friday, we played 3rd out of 4 bands to over 300+ people and laid waste to their faces, we had other bands producers coming up to us saying their mind was blown, and the venues sound guy is all up on our nuts. It felt great. Then yesterday we had a photoshoot for an upcoming spread in BrightYoungThings for a show of theirs we are playing, and the photographer even shot some video for us and wants to do a full music video for us, and she said we were the most professional and funnest band she has ever worked with (as far as booking / communications, talent, and willingness to try crazy poses / scenes n stuff) check out her site:
