Here is my 1962 Eko Mascot...
I'm so in love with her, she plays and sounds and feels incredibly well...
She had an archtop and an archback!!!
Well I mean, she has arch on the top and arch on the back...double archthing then???

Pretty rad. I see those old Ekos go pretty cheap sometimes. Have you played any other ones? Worth trying out/picking up?

I thought about put some pickups on it, some gold foils, but I don't want to damage her...
I tried an Eko 200 which was good too, but not as great as mine...I was lucky on that one, but they generally are pretty great guitars.
I bought her 10 years ago for something like 300 euros.
They usually go pretty cheap, I don't understand why.
I'll buy an Eko 200 some day, because they sound great.
If I may found another Mascot I'll do the mods and put pickups for sure!!!!!!

You can probably attach a neck pickup to the end of the neck without much alteration.

Some really cool stuff in this thread. I guess I can show off a few that I've built over the past few years.
