Something about turning things in to stone?

I thought the original Vapor Trail was a touch on the boring side. Other than the FX loop, I didn't see much appeal. Do people outside of TGP like it? I dunno, I never actually played one.
This Deluxe (5 years later) has a few things that stand out: 4 special operational modes, 1.2 secs of analog delay, and 3 presets. In skimming the first demos, this might be the best analog chorus you can get. I'll have to try one soonish.

It also seems like you could set it for infinite repeats in some of these modes and use it like a rhythm machine. I'll be curious to pair it with other delays, in order to find ideal matches for layering and building up the textures. The ad copy says 8 modes, but it's really 5 (standard with various subdivisions + the four specialty modes).
I don't know what BBD they're using, but $229 for 4 chips is exceptionally cheap. They must've bought these by the truckload. If it's 4 x 300ms, I would guess Micro disables all but the first chip, so you can do chorus/slapback. I'm not sure if you can keep runaway going, or if it's restricted to being a momentary mode that you have to manually engage.
► Micro Delay: Extremely fast repeats for replicating double-track, slapback, and Leslie speaker-like effects.
► Pitch Sequence: Introduces up and down octaves in 8 customizable, rhythmic sequences.
► Runaway: The endless repeats and building energy of runaway delay with effortless control.
► Pitch Bender: Puts dive-bomb and glissando control at the tap of your toe.

shortcut: Pitch Seq mode (12:55) I imagine this was inspired by pedals like the Supa Puss & Thermae, but this sounds less chaotic and random. I'm not sure how you access or edit the 8 different rhythms, but it may a sub setting of the mode pot. I''ll have to run a Thermae/MOOD/Particle/Grazer in the FX loop of this pedal to hear some glitched patterns.

I wish more pedals had those little 9mm pots. I'm sick of kicking over pedals and fucking up the best settings.

Buy Henretta pedals then, you clumsy Scandinavian!

Well, I would like to change
some parameters every now and again.
Also... I have bought a dual pedal from Henretta
But for real. I'm sick of going to rehearsals or gigs and having to redial in shit because a knob has bumped up against something. Or in a gig and I'll accidentally drag my guitar cable over the board and rotate 11 knobs in one fell swoop. Some pedals it doesn't matter, but like the SS/BS mini, I had to get rid of because I kept volume jumping myself. I couldn't put smaller knobs on because it looked hot the way Brian intended it to

There was a solution for that. Something about using small o-rings under the knobs so there was some resistance to accidental turning but still possible to readjust if desired. Never tried it myself.

Another way to achieve this (without extra costs!) is to do this simple modification like shown in the picture. You can mod all the knobs like this and you are still able to tweak your settings while they are completely stage- and idiot-proof!
