Yeah, the "come" command is one he doesn't like to obey. He fully knows what it means (for example when you have a treat in your hand), but he is a stubborn son of a bitch (a typical rottie trait) and typically won't listen. What he will usually do, is stare at you with his dead eyes as you say "come" like a fool. After a few times, he will take a half a step back and shake his head no with a little grumbly growl type thing. Then usually the more you say "come" the further back he gets. He is good with other commands, but that one he has some personal issues with.

Is the door he kept running to the way out? MBD (my brother's dog) gets like that when she has to go out.
If not, he just looks confused.

yeah that's the door. He is not confused, he was just being silly. He has quite the personality, this fucking guy. Smart as all get out too. Rotties are known for being smart and stubborn.

That video and that statement makes me think our dogs are very similar. He does very similar jumping around, play stance, ignoring commands. Very smart and definitely stubborn.
He's a boxer cross. Not sure all the breeds in him, but we're almost positive there's some greyhound in him too.
One thing he does, that wasn't in that video is lick exposed skin. Like with a passion. He is currently licking my toes

I really didn't care he was ignoring me in that video, I thought it was funny, so I played it up. And actually, my trainer told me not to repeat commands over and over if he isn't listening. She said that just poisons the word and makes it become meaningless.

Yeah our trainer told us that as well and our pup loves to lick fabric as well. He usually starts with himself or one of us, and then slowly moves onto whatever we are sitting or standing on

Say, what are your thoughts of using the Koma Field Kit in a non-modular setup? Still worth the money? Do you think it would be useful in conjunction with all the stuff I have? I would like to try one, but not sure if not being modular would render it pointless.

I think you already have a bunch of stuff that renders it useless, but not because it's CV based (which is what you mean by modular, I assume?)

Yeah, it seems obviously meant to be integrated into a modular setup with all the cv stuff etc. I have plenty of cv pedals ( all the moogerfoogers for example), but i wasnt sure how useful the kit would be without exploiting the full modular potential. Someone told me i should get one and that it would go well with my stuff, but i am not convinced and wanted more opinions. I like all the stuff i see people like MrNovember doing with it so I am curious. But at the same time, I agree, I already am doing some similar stuff in my current process without the field kit.

Yeah I'm pretty sure your current processes cover a lot of what's in the base of the Field Kit. There are some things that you might be interested in though. For instance, there are a couple of CV sources if you need them (LFO and envelope follower in Field Kit, Roll-o-decks sequencer or ADSR in the FKFX). There's also the stranger things like the motor driver, which I really like messing with in conjunction with some contact mics. The radio is pretty cool too, but is something easy to source elsewhere if you really want to incorporate one. Personally, my favourite thing about the Field Kit is having all these things in one (well now two) compact place.

Also, I use mine mostly separate from my modular gear. My last setup was the Field Kit, a Dispatch Master, and Ieaskul F Mobenthy Barres (contact mic thing)

No singing bowls, but I made a little something with my bass xylophone,some bells, a wooden thing, and a shaker. Needs headphones if you are listening on your phone to pick up the bass frequencies better.
