Was using my count to five as a delay last night at band practice and there was a moment where I really wanted to also use it to loop and/or pitch shift. I just need a nice normal delay for delay to free it up

ILTunersbros: I want a tuner with the features, but not the price, of a Turbo Tuner. Specifically:

1. Signal throughput / unmuted out
2. Ridiculous A reference options, for pairing guitar with stupidly tuned synths
3. fast/accurate

...anything out there cheaper than an ST-300?

If you like the standard digital tone of a CT5, I'd get a DD3.

In a word: no.
It's "only" $130. :poke:
A brand new TU-3 is $100.
Also, the ST-300 doesn't have the throughput, the only thing I know of that does is the TU-3/2/3W, but they don't have the accuracy nor speed of the ST-300/200.

Your best bet would probably be finding an ST-200 and using it with a splitter.

Actually, standard size ST-300 does have throughput, the mini does not.

AFAIK the Boss series' options for A ref is pretty limited, while the Turbo can do 300-599.9Hz.

And yeah, it's only $130, but even that much feels excessive when a phone app or snark is completely adequate for my needs.

Ah, I guess I was thinking you wanted a separate throughput.

Well, I don't know. It seems like you want all the expensive options without having to pay for it.
Price wise, it's only marginally more expensive new. Granted, Turbo Tuners hold their value, too, so new/used prices don't really vary at all. :idk:

The question is, what are you more concerned about? Do you want the best thing on the market with all the options you're looking for which is a little more expensive than everything else, or can you accept something that falls short of all the things you want (that's good enough for what you're using it for, hopefully), but is cheap? :poke:

I want every feature in one box, but I don't want the box to cost more than a Boneshaker.

someone's selling an ss/bs fuck locally, but i must resist and save up for the drone commander.

besides, it isn't pink and is pretty expensive for a used pedal (as is everything else around here).

The DD-3 sounds a little filtered because of the low quality AD/DA (which is what I love about it). DD-7 is pristine clean, but I think the most brutally clean delay I've played is the little Guyatone MD-3. It's a rad delay but I find it quite hard to get it to sit right in the mix because the delays have no rolloff whats so ever. But get one. They rule.

Also, in case your stalking skills aren't super advanced and you can be bothered wading through a few years of vaguery... I'm a medium shirt size. I'm not allergic to anything. I love all pedals. I've got a lot of pedals. I don't really gas for stuff because I just love all my gear, but that doesn't mean that I don't think new gear is rad.

Yeah dd3 is cool.

I didn't really mean that I love the tone of the ct5 though. It's perfectly acceptable because I'm not that fussy in a pinch but in general I prefer analog flavoured delays, either bbd/tape or pt2399 simulacra of.

But another delay doesn't fit on my board without getting rid of something else! Dilemmas

I'm GASing for the new pedal Pladask is working on.
I'm borrowing a prototype at the moment, and I can't wait for the finished product.

1. Drop everything you're doing.
2. Come to the Pladask/BandOrg workshop with me and build your own.
3. ???????
4. Profit!

It's not the FORM. ;)
#doublespinchip

Edit:
The prototype I got is a re-programmed FORM, but the final product will be more "specialiced" and not as "Bitquest-ish" as the FORM. ;)
