ha, karma apparently works after being screwed over by a collegue at work yesterday, i just basically made 200% of my normal wage today because of a HUGE amount of commision

also i'm feeling pretty great today... let's forget about yesterday and carry on!

my kitty got me up at 7 today and i didn't even hate being awake that much. did some looping last night i was happy with, and i should have plenty of time to get stuff ready today. and after my friend goes home i'll have a nice clean house to rattle around in.

I'm not kidding. The same day I get my tax returns is new amp day. THE VERY SAME DAY.

I'm loading up my half stack (somehow, the Honda Accord just isn't as roomy as the old Jeep), and going to music go round to trade/buy a sweet combo. And if they don't have what I want at music go round, I'll keep looking.

i've been wondering about that myself. a Fender in that wattage range would be nice, i hate Deluxe Reverbs, and the option of the more "modern" channel is a plus for me.

The weather has been totally fucked the last few weeks. Sometimes its 80, sometimes its 40...

Almost a pain in the ass, except that this is my life right now:

Went for a walk. Passed by a cute girl sitting on a ledge with a skateboard. Like, 2 feet away. Would have been a totally opportune moment to start a conversation, but I couldn't tell if it was a small boy until I passed and looked from the other side, which was down a flight of stairs & after I made my conformation she skated away. Balls.

So I walked around more being all "fuck, I shouldn't have passed that up, etc." and eventually decided to stop in my school's art building. Went to the xylophone room and someone from the jazz group left their kit in there. I jammed out on that fucker for over an hour, just pounding and trying to coordinate my limbs as best I could. So much fun. Right leg is sore from pumping out bass hits but I could totally do this as a form of exercise. Might have to piece together a small kit and find a practice space

Just finished my second year at Mac, feels so good!

I just got back from a dance revue at the local college. Turns out I love watching dance. And not just beacuse it's women moving, but because I actually love the motion of it. My only peeve is that I'm kind of weird about symmetry in art like that, so whenever there was an asymmetrical placement of a guy in the crowd of girls, it bothered me.

I kind of want to see if Kate would be interested in doing choreography for some songs, if I work out a few sets, someday. Her minor is going to be dance, but I suspect that it might be a bit different from choreography. :shrug:

Scored a free set (4) of silkscreens and a t-shirt board, and some other misc. crap pertaining to silkscreening.

I went to McDonalds on my way home after bowls with a buddy. As usual it was slow as shit. I ordered a large fry and two apple pies. I got to the window and she was like, "I'm just gonna throw these six pies out unless you want them." And I was like "Hell yeah! Free pies!"

Sometimes it pays to be patient. Now I'm just full as fuck. And I have three pies left!
