I love what Peter Edwards (Casper Electronics) has been doing with Bastl these last few years. His NovaDrone is by far my favorite drone machine, the BitRanger is a ton of fun and I'm hoping the SoftPop comes out soon. It says "late September/early October" on their store page, but it also says "not in stock" which makes me sad.

Current things I'm thinking about whether for band use or as "maybes" :
- looper with midi sync for synth board
- CBA Warped Vinyl MK1 because cheap and still curious after all these years
- new EHX Green Russian because big muff fetish and cheapz

Good thing to GAS for. Maybe just buy a bitquest since you've wanted one for over like 2 years at this point?
iphone.
and the koma kommander is pretty sweet if you've got something fun to pair it with (filter cutoffs, speed/rate of modulations etc)
All true. I guess the Kommander can wait because I have one in the BD-101. The Bitquest always makes last spot in the list because I don’t really need it. It’s just an extra flavor of everything with a cool Dr Sci twist. And I’m in desperate need for some glitch, so probs Raptio first.

I'm on this weird kick of wanting the most digital and cold sounding delays, choruses, and flangers again. Like, the opposite of analog. If I wasn't afraid of it, I think I might go rack.

I honestly wouldn't even know where to start with racks. I definitely need to upgrade my amp, first. I'm currently using a Sound Craft Lecternette. It is a solid state PA with a built in lectern and microphone stand, with two 6" Jensens. It does this great volume sag at max volume.
Cold, dry modulation plays very well with fuzz, in my mind.
I love my Buzzz and will never part with it, but I kind of miss my old collection of Devi Ever fuzzes. It was cool having a half dozen fuzz boxes that I could move around my pedal board and stack in weird ways. Especially the Hyperion and Ruby.

Ever since selling the Infinity looper my loop game has been weak af

Been fixing to pair something on the weird side with the LFLJ, found a forgotten lil 3ch mixer w/crossfader. Also more LAL, for the tabletop rig but the secondhand market is always so picked-over at all times.

Dude, dialling up insta patches of mad combos is a good place to start.
90s roland stuff.
Its all good.
Digital rack mods and delays, fuzz pedals out front.
I just want a dirt pedal that makes my drop A sound like the near-exploding power tubes of Om's
Variations on a Theme.
Is that too much to ask?

What do people like for unorthodox cv controllers? I want some fun things to manipulate my modular with. Kommander looks fun? What else is there?

The Eowave ribbons are rad.
Also the Variations on a Theme dirt is a vintage spec DOD250 with both knobs dimed on a Ric with all the knobs dimed. Probably about $75 for a Yngwie signature or you could get a clone.

Yeah the Eowave looks fuuun.
Sounds easy enough. Now I just need more amps and a ric.

This I know, but it sounds like a large part of it is bass tubes running super hot, with all that out front.
I dunno, I just get the impression that if I did that, I would not get the desired results.
The flight to freedom
Gradient raise
The called ascendant.
