Anyone playing Dark Souls II yet?
My roommate has been playing it all day since he got home from work, it looks really good.

Not true. Titans are on a count down timer for every player at the start of the match. Dealing damage to other players or grunts reduces your personal timer. When you are killed, the countdown timer DOES NOT reset.
You can earn one time use Burn Cards by killing grunts and spectres, some of which can be used to immediately knock off a portion of time to your Titanfall.
Everyone gets their Titan, it's just a matter of time.

The Multi is great, very balanced. I was 4th place on my team after my first ever match, you can play the entire match without playing in a mech simply because the Pilots are so agile. You can wall run up to the next build level and jump straight onto another Titan. The match is really well done and I gave up on BF4 after an hour.

I think a few here people are.
I'm both loving and hating it...which I think is expected.
It's my first time playing any of the franchise so I ended up having to restart once when I got my bearings
I'm really enjoying it now though

So much this. And I really want to play Titanfall too.
It looks so good but I just can't play things online

I can but not competitively for FPS stuff on an Idaho connection.
I do WoW for people, that's enough.

OOOF DARK SOULS II
I only got home an hour ago and I'm too tired to keep playing. Should be able to get some good time in over the next 3 days. Sped through the tutorial area (first time through the game I want to see everything) and explored the town. Finding the
was nice. Tried to fight the ratpigthings, ran away. Movement feels different, but good.
So. Hyped.

Huh, that doesn't sound bad, then.
After you lose a Titan, does your timer thing get reset? Basically, is it like playing Tribes or somethin' with the occasional glorious mech combat thrown in?
I heard Titans die pretty easily, is that just hearsay from people who suck at video games?

Yep, every 2 minutes - less depending on how many kills you get. There's some cool upgrades, I mostly use my Titan as a nuclear bomb that automatically ejects me away from the blasts.
But the game is really fun, i've put in about 10 hours already... I still suck hard, but i'm already level 20. I really want to play the story campaign but the lobby always seems to be dead. Which sucks. I really like this over most FPS and mech games simply because it's
really fast paced, playing without a Titan is just as much/if not more valuable. Agility plays a major role, you're always '
Parkouring' around and making madness. The game has it's flaws, but what it does is really well done.

While you have your Titan it turns into your titancore ability timer, which gives you a certain power up depending on the frame you are using.
Titsn fighting is definitely a completely different feel from running around as a pilot, so it can take some adjusting. I've always used the lightest, most fragile frame and generally have no problem keeping it up and running. It greatly depends on who you are playing with, as well.
Bummer, dude. Did you go through the campaign once already to get the other Titan frames for custom loadouts?

I thought I was pretty good at Dark Souls but the Pursuer has killed me 6 times and I can't find any places that feel safe to explore. I love it.

Oh man it took me forever to kill him.
I literally just found out about this method. Read it if you're really stuck:
Try those ballistas man. Parry him with a shield to stun him

Is parrying any easier? I NEVER got the hang of its weird timing, the animation in DS doesn't synchronize with the effect.

I'm complete shite at it
I haven't exactly practised the timing too much though
