The AC is out at my apartment for the second time in two weeks, third time in 2 months. Apparently when I said I was having issues, they just kept refilling it with freon, and now that freon leak has frozen up the unit. Why am I not surprised?

At least with the windows open it's not too awful in here.

My power's been out since 3 PM, was supposed to be back by 10 PM. Almost 1 AM, still out. WTF, Duke Energy?!

i hate that shit. and since i live three miles up a country road with only one electrical supply line and lots and lots of trees, we get at least a couple of overnight outages every single year.

If I could find my 1/8 male to male cable I could use the little stereo (and maybe EQ some of the honkiness out) that we recieved in trade for one of our Leopard Geckos to listen to some of the 70gigs of music on my External HDD instead of the limited selection of songs on my 8G iPod.

Yeah, they're building a highway extension in my area now, where my side road meets the main highway, and apparently a crane operator took out the power lines. Nice work, dude. Knocked out power to the south half of our town for a couple hours, and to my road for a lot longer. Power back on at 2:30 AM....

In the past 2 years I have lost 2 family members, 4 friends, and my dog.

I am so very weary.
