I got this on Friday. Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster 50s in Butterscotch Blonde:

I really like these cheap Squiers. You get a lot of guitar for the money, and this thing was just about perfect right out of the box.

i'm with you on the cheap squiers, they are great for the price! lately i've been playing a VM Jazzmaster and a VM Mustang more than any of my other guitars.

no, no, i paid for it :)

gibson made a lot less of the white finish sg specials...and the small pickguard was less common than the large (think townshend) pickguard. i think theres a list somwhere that says how many of each model gibson made each year, so if anyone could tell me how many of these they made in '66, that would be a cool gesture...

hey it turns out that white guitar and that little silver amp in the picture with it sound really good together. pure rawkness.

Definitely Prefer the Small Guard to the Batwings.

That's a sweetheart for sure. That tailpiece is neato.

thank you..he sent the original vibrato and bridge. replacement is a tonepros avt-ii bridge..unfortunately i have discovered an issue with the truss rod nut..the rod itself is fine, at worst i might have to have a guy put a washer in to make adjustments to the rod easier..huhuhuh rod.
i dunno, maybe you guys who know your shit better than i do can tell me what you think. i cant get my 5/16" hex to grip on this for shit.

After 2 years of gold anodized pickguard I've decided to put the original white one back.
And I'm happy :thumb:
