It’s clearly a digital coil cable

Does this exist? It should just be a very little bit of high end roll-off, should be easy enough

"BE SURE TO EXPERIMENT WITH PLACEMENT IN THE SIGNAL CHAIN, AS BUFFERING WILL NEGATE THE EFFECT OF THE COILZ PASSIVE CABLE SIMULATION."

I usually like to put 1000 feet of coily cable between my gain section and my modulation

Surely that was a joke, right?
If only when leo designed the electric guitar he had included a way to passively roll off your high end. Then we wouldn't need a pedal for it.

It’s clearly a digital coil cable
coily cable impulse response

it started as a joke as i remember it. sometimes you get shockd by how scared guitarists are of tone knobs

I'm glad. I just wouldn't want this to exist unironically

Yeah, pretty sure it was a joke and the demand was so overwhelming that a few batches were made.

Anyone know if the MXR Octavio (M267) the same circuit as the older Dunlop JH-OC1? Because I have the latter and apparently they're selling for stupid money, figure I could sell it and get the smaller cheaper one with a power input (even though the cheese wedge form factor fucking slaps).

Probably. I dont see why they wouldn't make it a legit octavia with the same font and all

That's what I was thinking too! I may proceed with this plan.

Received the Blackhawk Mirthrandir. Thing goes to 11!
I actually like it more with the blend about halfway and the gain at like 9-10 o'clock and treble a bit bellow noon then everything cranked or past noon. Gives a really great rich stoner sound. More than that is a bit over the top for me but ymmv. Only tried through my hilbish beta pre and with a strat tho. Excited to try it on bass once I receive mine
