The SDD-1000 sold, and I am genuinely so pissed at the thought of some U2-loving cunt now using it instead of me getting to enjoy its sampling capabilities. Now I no longer even want the other delays I was gasing for, 'cause they don't do sampling so fuck it all, gonna get drunk and buy whatever I find on ebay...

Some manufacturers do that. Gives you options to balance the instrument differently etc.
