My whole life is a shitpost. One. Big. Shit. Post.
Geez - gone for 24 hours and I've got five pages to catch up on...sooooo;
- Delta's here...cool! - Peanut butter FTW!!! - I totally understand the multiple basses for different tunings bits; my instructor has me writing bass lines for some of his songs and a lot of them are tuned 1/2-step down, if not a whole step. It took me about a week to successfully readjust the truss rod of the bass I'm using for this stuff (partly due to constantly changing humidity levels thanks to rain, then dry, then more rain, then cold dry air) and it still rattles the frets some. I'd be tempted to use this as an excuse to shop for another bass (my 3rd) if I knew that I'd be needing one tuned like this for awhile (and had the money)...as it is, I'm using this as an excuse to learn how to do saddle adjustments. - Strawberries and whipped cream served that way FTW!!! - New Primus FTW!!!
...did I forget anything?....
- On yeah...my cat's name is Oreo.

Yes I got a leaked version of Green Naugahyde,...tis good and Jay Lane is adding a new sense of oldness to Primus,....that said I do like Brain and Herb. Songs about fishing and meth.
huh. i always hated Brain for the opposite reason. he just seems........ boring on the stuff i've heard him on. he's like the first grrL you got to put it in. serviceable, and way better than nothing. but....... not...... a memorable...... experience........
at least in a good way.
my grrL's out of town for a HINUTE. everything equates to sex in some way or form right now. DEAL WITH IT.

Which, again IMO, is a better fit for the music. I still haven't heard Green Naugahyde entirely yet, but I did like Jay's drumming on the Sausage release

I've seen him with Primus last year and with the FFB, I like him a lot better then Brain...
Herb is my favourite musician ever. EVER. I wrote him like a 4 page fanboy email somewhere around 1996 and like two weeks later he wrote: "hey thanks a lot" (yes, sans punctuation and capitalization) and it pretty much made my millennium. I only caught him on reunion Primus tours, but did see him with A Perfect Circle before their first album came out, and then years later when he was one of the house drummers for Blue Man Group in Vegas, wtf?!
