Yeah, I've also stuck a compressor after the Pest Tattern, but not as a limiter. 
I'm using it to add some sustain to the oscillations.
Also, tried with a buffer before it. A little too much treble for me. (Only exception is with the volume on the guitar rolled almost all the way off.
) Good, I guess, if cuttin' through a mix is important to you. 
Will have to do more foolin'.
