Oh, for hell's sake. By the time I was 13, I was using language that would have made Richard Pryor blush.

Someone once asked for some feedback on a song. I liked the song, but there was one lyric that I didn't think quite fit, and I said as much. We had some back and forth, very nice, very productive, and then, poof! nothing, the guy was gone, all his posts, zingo, complete Kayser Soze. Turns out one of the mods thought we were arguing and put us both on forced ignore, so we were completely invisible to each other. Without telling either of us, or even bothering to read the damn posts.

I got perma-banned for my reaction to that. The positive that came out of it all, though, is that we were able to move our conversation to e-mail and have become friendly, using each other as a sounding board.
