Monobius in the house.

It's great! The preamp drive is great alone and the carrier feels really natural. Really happy so far...it also gets much cleaner than I expected which is awesome. There are some settings with the diode config and carrier/filter level that let osc through which is nice to throw off the balance. The filter/feedback setup also lends for some nice low frequency stuff.

First impression is freaking great! Haven't fed it anything but clean guitar into quiet clean amp...but that's a good test if it already sounds good for me.

The preamp is essentially lifted right off the Tetanus Booster. There were some value adjustments to maintain clean over a wider range (at the expense of delicacy in lower levels, but RM isn't inherently a delicate thing, so I let it ride), but it's essentially the same core circuit driving both inputs and the output.

It sounded like it (when I was playing it, I was thinking it was a volume limited tetanus compared to mine).

The cases keep looking better and better too. Rusty art.

Apologies, my backlog hit nine deep. Kind of a gnarly hole for me to climb out of. Fulfilling in order...

MORE SOON!

It's worth the wait honestly (snuck away again). I know you dug the DBA space ring...this is similar in that they are both passive in the center, but this one is so much more really. The DBA kinda does that dirty trem and is a kinda fuzzy thing, the monobius is much more tight in my limited time.

I got it to kinda do a nice trem thing on the high notes (more like a vibe kinda sound) but chords pushed through with the nice gain sound. Pretty neat. It can do all the normal ring mod kind of stuff too. There are these in-between settings that work out really nice and really add to the versitility.
