I am sorry but this place is a shit show. Every time I come here to check in on some pedal talk, I have to sit through fifteen motherfuckers telling people to post their pedalboards elsewhere, that our group is a bunch of losers that should fuck off back to TalkBass, that there is no reason for our thread, etc etc etc.

If you put D.O.S. on your foe list, it removes like 90% of the trolling and you don't have to explain simple words/concepts anymore.

I think what me and other forum members actually said was "don't fuck off to talkbass, join us and participate in the forum" so kind of the opposite of that. I feel like most of the rudeness comes from y'all, but I don't really give a fuck what people think of the interface. Half the people here are split on which is ugliest, ILF standard or ILF dark. I understood the founding reason for this thread, I understand that it's a talkbass thing. But if you want intimate conversations with talk bass people, we have that and no one cares. If you want to post/look at pedalboards, we have a few of those. I was trying to convince people to actually participate in this very fine forum.
I was gonna tell you to get fucked, but meant in a way of like "welcome to this fine community, feel free to participate", but I think that might be subject to misunderstanding

I mean this thread's first rallying cry was to not-so-subtly bash another ILFer (which may be secondary to the fact that it's a gathering point for people that post under the same pretense/title/"theme" on another site), so I'm not really concerned about what some dude who doesn't post anywhere else thinks, but I do think it lends some credence to what comesect 2.0 posted when he asked what the point of this thread was, at least as far as some of the people who came to it's beacon
I like talking to/interacting with ns and Somni, though. They've got good banter, but they also, you know, participate with the rest of the site and don't just come here to complain about how everything sucks all the time.

In all the years I've been on ILF (6, going on 7 years), I've only added 3 folks to my foe list and currently only have one still on there. It's the douche bag from Japan that I would fly to Japan to bitch slap. I genuinely dislike the dude though because he would go out of his way to be a dick head to me.
I usually get angry, then I ignore it. I still read the persons posts and don't block them. It's worked fine for me.
