Double post; anyone have any recommendations for getting the RM to sound as clean as possible? I love the dirt but sometimes I want to be polite

Turn the pre and post gain all the way down, max the volume, and then turn the pregain back up a little to match. The Hi setting seems cleaner in general to me too.

Pretty much. Look at my demo on youtube where I switch the reverb length switch up. Really purdy IMH(umble)O

You guys. I have behndys here. Seems like it likes guitar better than bass. The reverb itself is good, but the dirt in here IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

:thumb: so happy you like it! I have an idea of something I'd like to make with that dirt in the RM for a next pedal. But that's a idea and I'll probably get to it eventually :excellent:

I use it with my VI. Best of both worlds. You should get a VI. *injects GAS*

Yes! It would make an awesome standalone fuzz with more features on the dirt side. Voltage starve? Octave up or down? My goodness.

Great ideas! I've been playing around with the idea of saturating a Vacuum tube with this fuzz :excellent: and a couple of other things but I don't want to give away anything :surprise:

Well! After waiting for the Sunday rehearsal all week long, I've finally plugged my RM-1N on my mothership board.

All I can say is that every demos I've heard/seen on the internet during the pedal build, can't prepare me enough for the feels it instantly giving me after tweaking a few knobs.
In the first 2 minutes, the Godspeed You Black Emperor! in a box thing hit me like a freight train :omg:
The Reverb Machine ate all my pedalboard and spat the whole signal with a dark, degraded and desperate vibe in the most obscure and beautiful way. :snax:
For the first time in my guitarist/instrumentist life and years of upsizing the board, I was thinking about the fact that I could play this pedal all alone without stacking 3 effects to achieve a sound.

The post-gain-third-switch mod is the cherry on the cake: the fuzz kicked the whole rehearsal room in a glorious wall of sound.

Thank you so much Andrew to create this awesomely inspirational piece of gear.
This is by far my favorite musical thing.

To whoever looking for this Reverb Machine: just go for it, you won't regret it! :thumb:
