The distinction I was making was that the Decolonizer has a separate clean channel with the option for high headroom bright cleans while the Hellhawk is more of a two-levels-of-gain arrangement.

how far does the gain level go up on the hellhawk? I'm not looking to do any type of new metal. Just classic rock/stoner rock/doom(which i use fuzzes for). Thanks guys!

I didn't try that out. It's a blend of a model t and plexi...not sure which it favors more but those distortions would be appropriate.
