It does kind of look like that! :)

I just wanted to add some cool color to the back plates and had to paint the insides anyway, so I figured, why not?

Yes this is NOT the standard model. This is for the special run.

Professor Ryan, I have a question!
Is there any latency or delay to before the effects kick in? The only spin-based pedals I've played were the EQD Rainbow Machine and Organizer and there's a bit of a delay before the fun stuff happens. Is that an aspect of the spin or does it come from their code?

The latency there comes from the time it takes for the algorithm to decide what note/notes are being played and to pitch shift them. You need a minimum sample size to be able to do that. So that is particular to that type of pitch shifting/harmonization.

Oh, it's a nebula alright. 999 light years from Earth. 1/50th of which is now in that box fuzz riders.

So today was a semi decent day and I needed to get this done! First step done! Next comes the transfers and etches! Got my lovely wife helping me with the transfers too!!

These pics are awesome, Adam, thanks for showing us! And sorry I'm so late here! Nicely done, sir, can't wait to get working on these.. the finish is really awesome looking, guys, you're gonna get a kick out of it.

No matter, it is and will be cool regardless, I'm curious to see it etched and with the paint Ryan mentioned earlier! :) :thumb:

I think the banshee would be for the standard release. The ILF run will be featuring a different finish? Acid Splashed!

You got it, we'll do the crazy green sparkle powder coat as the first store run and Adam is working now on an acid etched run of 50 for here. They'll be totally different boxes and finish styles and artwork.

Matt nailed it, it has to do with how long it takes the micro to get and process the sample for certain effects and it can take up to a quarter of a second or so. Otherwise the Spin is very fast, super low latency.

Last week I made the final prototype for the BitQuest, the new pcb is perfect and everything works just right so it's all ready to go.

I've been tinkering with the patches as much as possible too, they're so close to ready.. I finally figured out a cool thing for the notch filter to do while clean (envelope control for subtle phasing when playing), and added a crazy modulation to the delay patch that you guys are gonna love.

I'm gonna get set up for a demo video and do a couple teasers soon, show off the dirty and clean sounds in two separate videos. I'll do a big write-up asap too with all the info about every patch, dirty and clean.

I'm really excited about this pedal, it sounds so good and is so much fun to play and can cover so much territory.. I think it's the best thing I've worked on. And hey, got it ready in just 13 months, not too shabby! *sheepish grin*
