Thanks! I like it too. I made the hole much wider than the led to let the light spread a bit, and then filled it with hot glue to refract it further. I also changed the led the yellow so soften the hue, and better match the decal.

Not sure. It came from a random scrap booking/hobby sticker sheet.

I have not experienced a lot of interference or extraneous noise with any of my wooden enclosure effects. No more so than the average effects pedal anyway.
I usually shield the wires coming from the effect and on the input jack if necessary. Having said that, this is a compressor so it is pretty noisy anyway. I suppose every little bit helps.

thanks for the input, always liked the idea of wooden boxes but was afraid of the lack of shielding

You can always line them with shielding tape if it becomes a concern.
