I am wearing a different striped v-neck today than the striped v-neck I wore yesterday.

i have so much to do, and so little energy or interest to do any of it. i really need to be doing more work search stuff and to finish off the tutorials on Illustrator and Photoshop i'm working on to refresh my skills for CS5/6, but all i want to do is sleep and plonk around on the internet. and the depression is circling around me like a vulture, trying to find a way to get to me.

The only song I really like by Modest Mouse is Float On.

On a similar note, I don't like Modest Mouse at all.

i'm totally bored by doom, or doom-metal, or whatever you call it.

I find Radiohead to be overrated, pretentious douchebags who haven't made a good album since the 90s.

Headin down the road towards tiny cities made of ashes I'm gonna hit you on your face I'm gonna punch you in your glasses

I love modest mouse and I always feel kinda lame for it. Mainly the albums Everywhere and His Nasty Parlor Tricks and Building Something Out of Nothing.

Favorite song is Night on the Sun.

I also love Radiohead and my favorite album by them is In Rainbows :duck:

Despite there being so many subgenres of metal, it's still all insanely predictable. And this is coming from someone who likes some sludge/doom.

I think Radiohead jumped the shark with King of Limbs. In Rainbows was amazing though and their best since Ok Computer.

I'm starting to get really annoyed at how stagnant/circle-jerky the Indie/Punk/D.I.Y. music scene is in Milwaukee. I think I'm gonna find some rolls and chase raver chicks for a while.

Nah. If you keep your ear to the ground there's always a few releases every year that are just mindblowing and different.

Check that, should've said "most" metal.

There is so much stuff it's impossible to keep up with. Since I started trying to come up with my top metal albums of the year lists I've been listening to 5-10 new albums per day. I've gone through hundreds of albums already. I'm on like music overload.
