The intonation is a bit off, but nothing major. The pickups are hot and full and with verb - wooooooaaaaah!!

Dude, I know exactly what you mean. The motivation to play and the enjoyment that results is definitely increased by gear that you love, particularly guitars. That Mustang has a great feel and playability and is one of the few guitars I've owned that really shines both dirty and clean. Add to that all those pickup configurations and it should keep ya busy for a long time to come.

And yeah, I went over the setup before it left and the intonation was pretty close. I figured after shipping it'd be all outta whack tho so I kinda just let it go. Sorry. :)

Dude I cant agree with you more! It's so strange how it works but I got my LP, I just wanted to play more than before and in turn made me get better and is still making me get better.

Awesome mustang btw fungalattack, I've never played one but I've always been a fan of mustangs over jag/jm and I love those WDRH (I think?) with the fender on them, thats such a nice touch. :thumb:

Thanks Helter! I am so happy with my choice. I love the offset guitars and the headturning obscure guitars especially when they play like a dream. Playability is numero uno!

It is more of a modded duo sonic to be real. These humbuckers also kick ass!!!!

How's that Pig90 working out for you? I've been searching for a P90 in a humbucker size. I'm not a huge fan of the Warpig, as its a little too hot for me, but I'd like to know what you think of the humbucker version. Guitar looks great by the way.

My experience exactly. :thumb:

They're actually Fender Enforcers and they absolutely RIP! I was shocked when I first tried 'em out. Super high output, like 21k or somewhere close, but they sound nice and warm and wide open and just scream through fuzz/dirt/etc. The high output really comes in handy with the wiring scheme, each pickup selectable between split (inner coil)/ series (HB)/ split (outer coil). That way, you don't lose all the volume and girth when going into single coil mode, nice and fat and chimey.

Not sure what else comes stock with Enforcers beyond that John 5 Tele but they need to start using them 'em more frequently for sure. Probably the best Fender HB I've tried, way more lively than the reissue WRHB imo. Hard to fuck with the vintage WRHBs tho, them shits is nice.

Don't let sonidero see this one. I think he'll try to steal it.

I'm pretty sure 1 of the tubes just broke during shipping. Going to bring it to my local GC tomorrow and see what they're willing to do. I'm trying to fix it by drinking glenmorangie scotch straight from the bottle but its not working.

Yeah, just read your other thread. I'd guess it's a simple power tube issue. Congrats on the new amp, hopefully it all works out cuz V4s are seriously badass!

Guitar Center kind of sucks but I've been real impressed with used prices. It's way cheaper than ebay (on the non big name stuff) I got the V4 for 550 which was cheaper than any I could find on craigslist within 200 miles :/. They had a v4 + matching cab up for $700, but someone snagged it before I got my tax return money. But then they have weird stuff like MIG100s up for $799?

There other advantage will be taken care of tomorrow. You can return it/get it fixed if something is wrong. And you can kind of know that they aren't selling you stuff in junk condition. Somebody looked it over before they bought it.

The Hi-flier wasn't bad either. I mean. In a way it was bad, $450, but they've been going up, and I haven't seen them go that 'cheap' on ebay in a while. I don't know if its worth $450, but it was worth MY $450.

edit: looks like the last few phase 3 on ebay sold between 400-500, so I'm right there. Not bad. Not Good.

I dig it for what I do. If you dont like super hot pups it def wont be as great but go grab something more in the 10k-13k realm. The Stockholm neck might be more what your looking for 15k bridge which is hot but nothing like the Pig90. BKP will make any of their soapbar p90s in HB size 2 if u order direct from them.
