Let us know how that goes. I've always wanted to fill in neck pickup holes on a few... sadly always on gibson style things...

No pickups. Wouldn’t want to cover up the laser etching.

My Skychord Cloudbuster arrived today. It is fucking awesome!!! So happy I scored it. It’s going to have a permanent place on my board. There is just so many options and sounds that this beast can make. The gain section really is impressive and takes it to another level of other crazy delay pedals.

Always regret not grabbing one of these way back when. Got to play one a couple times that a friend (SONIDEROOOOO!!) had and they are pretty wild. Nice find.

Thanks

I definitely feel pretty lucky that I got it. First time I have ever seen one up for sale. I’ve been feeling a little wild today and have been sending it into my Tracer City and seeing what happens. 2 crazy pedals for crazy results.

Got my tax return! So spending some money
Got a good deal on a Shallow Water finally! After a long while of trying.
Also bought a v2 Rainbow Machine to replace my V1. Love the v1 and it's definitely my favourite delay pedal, if not my favourite pedal, so having a bit of extra delay time/magic range as well as flexiswitching (which i love on other EQD pedals) will be perfect.
A friend is lending me his Flint for a while as well! Which I think I am going to love.

Scored a fantastically awesome looking etched Red Panda Particle from our fellow vidret and a Strymon El Cap for cheap on the local classified ads.
Both should arrive next week, where I have vacation... and the GF has to work.. so I will have time to play with the new toys

That's a HAUL
I have an RV-2 incoming which I will compare a little bit to the fantastic RV-3. Maybe I will even use both on the small board

Landed a sweet thrift store deal recently, think I got it right after it came in; almost exactly 22 doll hairs for a Marshall JCM800 1984 BASS 4x12" cab! Wow, so cheap, what is the downside you ask? Well it's been converted to a 2x15"... pretty sturdy baffle it looks like and just two unmarked, generic speakers. Haven't tried it with an amp yet but the connection measures 8 ohms (as well as one below that which measures nothing, and an extra 4 ohm speaker wire snap-lock thing). Lined with that gross, white, sound-insulating fluff too. Maybe later I*ll switch the spkrs if these don't sound good.
A weird find but I had to buy it for so little. It will probably end up as a bass/keyboard cab at the rehearsal for nothing space.

a 2x15 for one metal zone might be the best cab deal I have ever heard of.
