Jesus Was a Robot wrote:I am so glad I didn't sell this pedal. I find myself using it almost every single time I play, which is extremely rare for me to do these days. Between this and the Stammen 2, I'm in hog heaven. I don't really use them to their full abilities but I wrote a riff tonight that actually sounded great to me and I could imagine drums and everything for it.
So, I never updated mine either, which I know right? I don't notice any clicks or anything anymore? WTF. I'm super confused and actually scared to update it now. I don't know if it will make it change. I'm super baffled by that though. I even video taped the shit and now I can't get it to do any weird clicks or noises. Maybe I updated it at some point and am just too stupid to remember?
Anyway, I LOVE this pedal. I take everything back I said. LOVE.
OK. So you couldn't record the malfunctions. Now record your joy! Let's hear that shit!

Ok. I'll try and do some recording. Maybe I ought to do some actual recording of audio versus video stuff. Time to use my interface perhaps.

Hope it's cool to post this here, but I finally got around to demoing the Tensor. Reading the manual is probably more informational than my video, but I showed off a lot of my favorite settings. This thing can do so much, and I'm really happy I waited through the early firmware because I love it on the current one.
Also, if they released a version of this that was just the looper with a longer buffer time, I would probably buy a few to replace my love for the DL4 looper.

For those who have the Tensor, how useful is it outside of the looping capabilities? Most of the demos seem to focus on that side of it.

I think it's pretty awesome in the non-looping context. That's how I use it mostly. But I do use the regular record often by itself and twist it.

I could, probably, watch them talk and demo for hours.

Yeah, I'm about halfway through and, as usual, it's pretty entertaining.

Yeah, I enjoyed it! I like the looping capabilities, tape stop stuff and the pitching is rad too (if a little shrill (gimme dat lpf)), but I really don't like how the time stretching sounds. It's neither pleasant nor so ugly that it sounds cool, IMO. Anyways, I want one to check out for myself at some point. Good video.

Yeah, agreed.
I'm still waiting for someone to come out with a paulstretch pedal.
