Does anyone know if it's possible to get a
Series Two with a aluminum body instead of wood?

Yep, mine is an aluminum bodied series two!

I knew that! I just forgot that I knew that.

I'll probably place an order in February and make 2013 the "Year of the EGC".
Right now, I'm thinking all polished aluminum with a gold anodized pick guard.

That would look awesome! I'm hoping 2013 will bring me that EGC 10 string bich! Gotta lay off the pedals and cigars...

Sent my Final Payment through this morning.
Also, Kevin just had Twins so congrats to him - also explains why he's been a bit busy.

So....
I am almost pulling the trigger here on ordering a custom.
I need some help.
I have body design done. Pick ups, tone/vol ctrls done
Neck, pick guard, coil tap, etc.
Its going to be all aluminum , with a shaved down trais bean artist body, egc hum-buckers with coil-tap.
I am getting black block inlays on the neck, now, my only decision left is, what to do with the body...
I am thinking raw finish. What do you guys think?
I liked the look of SkullServ's Obstruct so much (not being too shinny) that I thought the neck/pick ups would pop against the duller body.
Help! Im sick of fucking going over and over this shit in my head, hahaha

I think the white and polished aluminum is hot shit. And you keep posting pictures of it. But at the same time, mixing and matching polished vs unpolished aluminum is also sexy

Yes, brushed body, polished neck. Do it.

I love the raw look and the fancier brushed finished. Both look more industrial/utilitarian yet retain max sex appeal imo.
I almost went with a brushed body after seeing theavondon's sexy fuckin' bass but ended up with Titanium anodized on top of brushed finish instead. Falls somewhere in the middle, darker than brushed but not quite charcoal. Also, it's a matte finish that retains all the brush strokes, should turn out sexy as fuck!
