In all fairness, I wasn’t going for a old vs new… I was listening to spoonful and was like.. what is that.. that is something other… I’m horrible that way and piss my sister (the dj) off all the time because I like to point out things derived from things… also I found it amusing because I am pretty sure Wolf played with as a 2nd guitarist for House early in his career :)*

On the other hand as for the blue clown posted earlier :)* I partially blame him for killing rockandroll’s last dregs of vitality

less annoying than my wife, who has a habit of pointing out similarities between songs (almost always entirely due to similarities in the melodic rhythm) and usually ends up claiming that the original ripped off the latecomer  to be fair though, she pretty early on figured out it's like nails on a chalkboard to me, and ever since has basically done it just to yank my crank - you'd think i was her little brother or something....

ok, so this goes against what i was trying to do in posting to this thread (pomposity alert), but i actually really enjoyed this rendition of Carlos Paredes' fucking awesome Canção Verdes Anos, as played by Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords, apparently
