Alaska piks, they confuse everybody so no one ever steals them. I wear the large size on my sausage fingers

I hate when picks slip out of my hand, so I've taken to playing these:

Pretty sure I'm playing the yellow delrin ones. Not sure.

I use dunlop Jazz IIIs mainly the black tortex ones for anything speedy or articulate. The seafoam medium fender california clears for most other stuff. Umm, string gauges really vary but i use DRs and would like to try out naked strings.

I tried the Elixir Nanoweb steel strings for my last string change, and I don't like the slipperiness or tone. Granted, the slipperiness is part of why you'd use them, it is the coating. I used to play on Ernie Ball lights, but I'm thinking I'll try something new again with the next string change.

I love Elixirs on my semi hollow, but DR is king on my solids.

Anyone have any experience with the GHS Boomers on an electric/solidboday? Thinking about stepping up to 12s..

I used those for a while. They're pretty good. Depends on what you're doing. I played 12's pretty much since I started playing guitar. When I started getting more technical though I stepped down to 10's. That may not be helpful... Let's put it this way, if you want to put some 12's on, GHS Boomers are good for the job. Take a look at the GHS DM Signature Progressives also, those are cool.

I use Dunlop Lil Stubby 1.0 picks (the clear jazz-shaped red ones) on electric, with (for the moment) Dean Markley Blue Steel 9's.
I play fingerstyle exclusively on acoustic, with (currently, atleast) D'Addarios in..um..I think 13s?
Haven't yet found a pick I like on the acoustic..

was using the little white Fender Heavy picks..the jazz-shaped ones..but haven't lately.
