And now here's a totally different answer: I guess some of the bands that have had the longest lasting and biggest impact on me would be.... ummm....
Crass... and The Smiths...................... and Rozz Williams...
Noise/Industrial-wise: Masonna, Xome, TG, SPK, Whitehouse... and Rozz Williams again.
