now how is matt bellamy gonna not get that

i posted the pics on the muse messageboard and its been getting some good response, which is surprising seeing how most people there tend to hate the "wannabees" who put fuzz factories in their guitars

did someone srsly just call that STARCASTER a fucking CORONADO?
get your shit in one sock people! that is our buddy fredo and thats his 76 all original starcaster, the thing is a BEAST the neck feels so damn good on it and the original widerangers in it are sextastic.
i guess im a bit late for the party, with being sick and finding out that nyquil makes me loopy as shit! dwarfcraft guitar is sitting in my living room waiting for my camera to show up so i can demo the piss out of for you all.
here are the spex
the body has a basswood top, with poplar back and sides. obviously there is a p-90 in the neck(sounds mean as fuck!) and a fatboy in the bridge(also sounds pretty decent)
normal vol. tone setup with the oscilater in the butt, i really liked it becuz everyone that played it, played it differently. when i demo'd the guitar at namm i would just find a good pitch and play within that key, kinda like a drone guitar, sitar action stuffs.
but our friend fredo played the joystick while strumming and got a cool wah like effect. and there was a famous rock star that just straight grabbed it and made the synth part of the guitar his bitch.
but anyway the neck is a pretty standard tele styled neck, 9.5 radius, nitro/tint finishd vintage frets. fender am standard tuners. the guitar currently has no knobs becuz the knobs pictured were on loan from our friend fredo(he and roachelle helped us out alot with the show)
and like aen said, the actual dwarfcraft guitars will be around in about 6 months, and this was just a one off sort of thing for the show, basically showing that, yes we do things that you recognize, but we also do things that you have never seen/heard of before.

I was thinking that the non-trem models could have optional FX in the butts, perhaps.

I am curious about the rumor that the Bear will become a member of the regular Dwarfcraft line.

Well, let then put you out of your misery --->

This be a official response from the man himself on the question of building a bear

JRMY-
The amp is a YES GO. We're just tying up a few loose ends on the prototype. The TONEZ are all set.

This statement is full of win. We eagerly await demos of all related tonez, mojo, arrows, toobz, bewbz and lowendcorksnifferjoystickenabledsquealyfeedbackjoy :omg: .

My seat? I'm on the edge of it.

Joystick controlled amp? Now that would be pretty awesome.

I know. I'm just saying it would be awesome and fit in with the dwarfcraft thing if you did. As long as it brings the noize, it'll be fine. :animal:

if one more person says joysticks i will choke the first person i see......
as far as optional effects/joysticks in the back of guitars, i was apprehensive about it at first but becuz of the overwhelming number of people that have asked, both at namm, on here, and a few other places i believe that i will offer that as a service.
if one is truly interested they must pm me about it tho, and NO, it will not fit into an sg or a slim ibanez, has to be at least the thickness of a normal tele(bout 40 mms)

Man i mean....i think we were all expecting there to be crazy effects in the guitars. You guys are a respected effects manufacturer...so it only seems natural that you would incorporate that in some way into the guitars you would produce. Now this is not to slight you in any way as a guitar builder robert but if you just started bulding strats and teles and jazzmasters (and im not saying thats what your plan was either way...just for the sake of argument) what would set you apart from the other fender style guitar makers that have already established themselves? I guess what im trying to say is that i dont think the guitars would be very....dwarfcrafty without the effects and of course the FUCKIN JOYSTICKS.

 Robert doesn't really punctuate or use emoticons, so you'll have to forgive him. This was a big joke for use at NAMM, cause we had to talk about joysticks A LOT. And as you might imagine, a LOT of people couldn't wrap their heads around a pedal-shaped-object (RYB) that had no input

As far as guitars go, we really didn't think there would be much interest in having effects on board, much less joystick controlled ones, but we've been corrected! I'm brainstorming for a "standard option" onboard effect. I think we'll have a few standard produciton models instores and whatnot, and then limited customization available direct from DC. But don't take that as a promise, we haven't talked out the whole plan yet :idk: Personally, when we get this shit up and running, I'll be gigging a hard tail Dwarfcraft guitar with no internal FX, cause I prefer to run my shit from the floor, but that's just me, I don't decide what anyone else wants.

As far as adding an effect into your current guitar, I convinced Robert to do that for people. The draw back there is the required thickness of the guitar's body, and the cost. In addition to Robert's labor installing the device, I would be interrupting standard production to build the funky-guitar-ass-effect, which I'm fine with, it just takes time, and therefore moneys.

And as a sort of mission statement: We intend to make durable, affordable, great sounding guitars that fit the player's needs. So ask away, and we'll do our best. (Robert, feel free to correct my ass if I forgot a bullet point in there.)
And, I don't want to spill too much too early, but I promise the Dwarfcraft guitars will stand out as instruments, with or without FUCKIN JOYSTICKS. (PS, can we get a word filter, so whenever we type "joysticks" it comes out FUCKIN JOYSTICKS?) You'll see it (or them) in June :excellent:
