So when are you gonna stop treating us like lab rabbits, and show us the fruits of your labor?

Yeah batteries on effects should become obsolete. he only benefit to this is when it's dying and you could get some great tone on ODs, fuzz and distortions. But now I've seen a company that makes a voltage regulator that simulates a dying battery, cool thought.
