I honestly havent designed the Miracle Rabbit circuit, but it's definitely going to be a solid thick fuzz. In my mind, I think I might try breadboarding something like a Jumbo Tonebender sans tone control and tweak from there?

i love how none of these pedals particularly lend themselves to mellowtones.

well, googling found some talkbass threads suggesting the jumbo tonebender sounds sick on bass, but all the clips seem to be gone. still, intrigued.

Ive never heard a Jumbo Tonebender, but what has me interested in pursuing that route is:
1. It's more or less a Big Muff. I modded a black russian BMP to lift the diodes which really opened up the pedal. a Jumbo Tonebender is like a Big Muff with one set diodes lifted out. on the BMP I modded it still got plenty fuzz
2. taking out the tone stack and recovery gain stage (the recovery stage isnt in a jumbo tonebender, but is in a big muff) will not only flatten out the voice (no mid scoop) but also make the circuit about 30% simpler. simple is good, as the party favors focus on simple circuits.
i think it will be a unique entry in that category, although this is all subject to change after breadboarding!

OK, if the labels stay as they are I NEED the miracle rabbit, I mean I already have 2 blue and pink mellowtones, I has to complete the set.
