2.A. WMD Protostar -> The logical conclusion to a filter pedal. They're selling for 66% of their retail price these days. You're a Euro dude so you can use it for that as well (it has a convenient patch bay and CV for the Euro jacks).
2.B. It also has an FX loop so add answer 1 and 2 together.

I think your singer is right. Run it through a fuzz.

I'm really into running any drums through the ottobit right now. The filter/bitcrush/sample rate knobs are fun to dial in some nasty sounds. Also the sequencer/ stutter help me find some unexpected beats that are very enjoyable.

That Protostar looks pretty slick rick and I almost impulse bought ALESIS 3630 because of the above and because hypercheap.

The Kaoss Pad 3 is working pretty good for me so far. Input gain, etc. BPM DELAY, etc. LPF, etc.

Hey, I forgot one of my favorite things which I am reminded of by the above post re: Ottobits. Put shitty drum machines through:

1. Malekko Charlie Foxtrot is god for finding beats between the beats with glitch allure. It is literally jesus and god combined.

2. MASF Possessed if you prefer Japanese demons to jesus and god of the Christian modality. That is, it, too, glitches with beats between the beats but has infinite more chaos inside than the Malekko.

3. C also Catalinbread CSIDMAN which has very digital flavours but which nevertheless finds the beats in between the beat very profoundly although I prefer the Charlie Foxtrot flavourings as a person and a man with shitty drum machines.

For unearthing beats within beats I like feeding the drum machine into a feedback loop, no gods required.

I ran a couple Alesis 3630s in series to hear how bad they would get, they CAN DO the failed caps and damp cardboard sound when you string the sections four deep.

i used to have an sr16 - it was aight, but i felt like every sound was highly processed, which was ok if you were going for that sound, but i preferred other things when i wanted to do my own processin'
i've been having fun lately combinin' a SDRUM, Trio and sometimes Adrenalinn in a parallel/feedback loopers
have kinda wanted a Volca Sample for a while now tho

Fer sure. It embodies a really tailored sound that pairs well with ROMplers and pre-VLZ Mackie mixers rocking steep additive EQ all feeding a DAT or ADAT final stage. Oh, I forgot to mention GOBS of reverb that can't pass anything above 10 kHz.

I'd usually prefer to listen to the sounds of stuff falling off a shelf, but any drum machine will liven right up when fed into enough botched circuitry.

I have never gassed for these types of pedals before but now that you mention it damn. That is intersting

In this track I run my rythmtrak 234 through a mixer that is plugged into itself (via a metal zone) at 255 bpm and then running the drum machine through the fx loop. I.e, drum machine in a feedback loop. It starts about 2:20 mins in, in case you get bored with the piano playing
