lusting over a used hog right now, ok price (2500kr). its what 13yo me would have wanted
"lusting over a used hog" sounds nasty

I love the Superego, but couldn't get past how harsh and high-frequency-focused it is. Have you found that or is that just me?coldbrightsunlight wrote:Yeah my superego seems quiet enough too.
Yeah chank I think that is rational GAS. Mostly.
"Aja." Becker plays the second part of the solo (Denny Dias is the first part), apparently on a Jazzmaster, and his tone is fucking gorgeous.Pretty odd that Walter Becker of all people managed to bump up the price of a pedal. When has HE ever had a killer tone, it seems it's always other guys.
I never had trigger issues on either but the + I had was much quieter than the original. The effected signal on the original could boost louder than the dry but, on the +, it could never get even as loud as the dry.manymanyhaha wrote:Interesting. I had problems with triggering the OG in some parts of the fretboard and the + solved that problem for me. That's only the reason I have the + since the effects are kind of useless to meCody_Pole wrote:I've had both and the + doesn't measure up to the original I had volume and trigger issues when solely using the straight up effect and mixed results with the built in effects, I sold it and went back to the OG one and was much happier my opinion they concentrated on all the bells and whistles and not the original effectcoldbrightsunlight wrote:Folks who have tried the superego and the superego+.... how much better is the +?
Superego has been a staple for me for several years and I do occasionally wonder about upgrading.
Now that you say that, I'm now realizing the same thing. I've been wishing I could have a volume boost, it's getting lost.oldangelmidnight wrote:I never had trigger issues on either but the + I had was much quieter than the original. I tried one for a little bit, with the intention of using it as an envelope manipulator, and I didn't care for it. It seemed like it was useful for one sound which is that backwardy fuzzy thing like on Revolver, and that's it. My impression at least. Didn't last longdubkitty wrote:i just discovered the EH Attack Decay backwards-reverb thingy. it seems really cool, but that weird sort of glossy graininess so typical of their processors is apparent and the controls are particularly random, not in a good way.
