Or you have euro-rack already... did you see that crazy new FM Module? I see the appeal of Digitakt and Digitone as I looked into both at a point. They're pretty small so I still consider them. An ILF user More_Divebombs has a digitakt and makes ABSOLUTE BANGERS! His albums are among my favorite this year. Usually when I listen to break-core and things of that caliber I have my set of artists to just expedite satisfying the itch. Now I listen to More_Divebombs.

Gear:
1) buy pedals to finish up pedal board ideas - OBNE Signal Blender & a looper of some sort (Ditto X2 or Clone Looper are current front runners, might get both), DAPE #rip
2) buy pedals because of gas - OBNE MAW, Drolo Stretch Weaver
3) buy a pedalboard and power supply for my bass pedals
4) mod my Jaguar
5) buy a Teenage Engineer PO-33 because I need more samplers for some reason
6) buy a QuBit Bloom, Make Noise Mimeophon, Intellijel Quadrax because eurorack is a terrible addiction
7) replace my dead computer; probably build a proper desktop
8) buy things if my time comes up on the waitlist and I have money available - Rob Hordijk Blippoo Box, Demedash T120

DIY:
1) practice soldering
2) fix the terrible wiring job I did in my Silo 20
3) buy a 3D printer - I have no faith in this happening. It's been a goal for like 3 years now.

Music:
1) learn more piano - I want to get comfortable enough to jam with people/improvise
2) record things - I actually have some ideas based around my current setups so this is actually plausible for once
3) continue writing music - I recently started writing songs with actual lyrics, which has been some weird mental block I've had for years. Would like to do this more

Life:
1) get married - booked for Sept 25, 2020!
2) sleep more, drink less, eat better, keep going to gym, drop 25lbs (stretch goal drop 50lbs)
3) buy a new house (probably won't happen due to #1)

I listed my goals on page one but I think I’m already due for an update:

1) just bought my Buzz Box clone so that is a check off my list - still want a grunge, a vintage turbo rat and more Death Metals.

2) I really want to buy a Wren & Cuff 20v Overdrive. It’s the dumbest purchase because it’s so much scrilla. But it seems like the perfect OD for me.

3) NOT buy any more synth pedals and then flip them. I never use them!! But l buy them, flip them and think “the next one will be better”. I bought an FM4 used and that does all the dumb stuff I need.

4) learn to use my FM4 a little more and maybe get it modded with better switches.

5) new cables for my PP2 as some are wearing out. Maybe a new power supply. Maybe a bass board and a noise board. I’ve got all the effects for it.

6) flip a few pedals I don’t use on reverb. I’ve got a few just sitting around in a plastic tub.

7) join a new band - I’m ready and looking. But being (almost) 40 and working full time means it’s hard to find people who want to make weird music AND don’t want to jam twice a week. I can’t do that!! I get up at 5:30 every day! It could be grind, noise, space rock, industrial, noise rock.... I just want to play with some people and not just goofing around in my basement and release a few tapes and play a show or two.

8) I have four bass heads in my basement. I think I will try to flip at least one for something more useful.

9) learn more about programming my drum machine - I’ve got the basics but not the more advanced features down. I need to get to a point where it’s intuitive.

10) possibly buy another synth. I love my MS-20 but maybe I want some other sounds. MAYBE. Like an Arturia synth of some kind.

Buy an HX Stomp, a couple more modules, and sell some random stuff cluttering up the joint.

Music:
Sort out my visualization stuff and carve out solid times to enjoy playing.

Figure out if we're gonna have another kid or not.

I'm going to buy a Chase Bliss Mood pedal. I feel it. I don't understand all the bells and whistles on the Chase Bliss stuff but I love glitchy pedals. I'm not going to use it on guitar. I'm probably going to use it on Korg Monotribe and the bizarre TB-303 clone the TB-3. I'm probably going to use it on the L.E.P. Multicassa.

I'm going to buy an Industrialectric RM-1N because I love Industrialectric and have not yet fucked with this product of theirs. I want to run my entire mix through it.

I'm going to buy a 2nd TipTop Mantis case and attach it to my 1st TipTop Mantis case. Then I am going to buy modules to fill it. I am going to buy a Qu-Bit Bloom and an ALM Busy Circuits Akemie's Castle.

MrNovember reminded me I am also on the wait-list for a Blippoo. If I come up, I am buying the Blippoo. I will run it through my brand new Chase Bliss Mood and Industrialectric RM-1N pedals.

Since all of this costs like 12k$ I'm not actually going to do any of it. I am moving away forever in January and the new house needs a lot of work. I feel grateful for what I already have. If I didn't have my gear collection, I'd have to make music with a harmonica. No one wants to hear me play a harmonica even more than no one wants to hear me play synthesizers.

Woah, gear goals 2020..
Right now I have just (a big) one: build a small rehearsal room once I move in the new house in spring. Also for sure I would like to record something new.

Great goals right there hommie! I really don't want a studio space per say. I do want an insulated room though (not even treated... IDGAF). Just a room to be as loud as I need to be (which isn't that loud to be honest, just too loud where I'm at now).

I'm gonna need it to be properly acoustically isolated because of neighbours, atl least it's gonna be in the basement, wich helps alot.

I'm mostly set for gear at the moment, at least for my current band, with a few notable exceptions.

1) I'm set on pedals with the sole exception that the RM-1N I paid for nearly a year ago still hasn't arrived. This is not a jab at Industrialectric. They sent it out a long while ago, but the post office never managed to get it to its intended location and they've been fighting Canada Post to fix things, and mostly continuing to communicate with me. I'm frustrated, but only with the situation, not with them. Figures it would happen with literally the last pedal for my board.

2) I need to overcome the minor obstacles that have been preventing me from finishing my Telecaster build for the last year or more. I have this pesky fucking screw embedded in the back of my body with its head snapped off, that I can't for the life of me figure out how to safely extract, which is holding everything up. And I need help figuring out my ambitious wiring plan.

3) I need to upgrade my actual board, either by building one myself or figuring out how to afford to hire someone to do it for me, since there's clearly nothing stock on the market that suits my needs. Any of you downsizers who find yourselves no longer needing massive custom-made boards, hit me up.

4) I want to upgrade the other two speakers in my Quad Reverb. After blowing two of them, I upgraded to much heavier duty Celestion Redbacks, but I really should swap out the other two working speakers for two more.

5) I need to get back in touch with Blk/Tri to figure out how to get them one of my Frost Giants for repairs/upgrades, so I can finish upgrading my SG.

Screw expensive weddings, get the house. I officiated my best friend's wedding in August. I think we spent a grand total of (I'm very much over estimating) $300 putting everything together (including decorations and clothes). It was a fantastic day!

For #2 you're already so fucking handsome and smart. You have a really great build too so if you dropped 25 pounds (50 seems a bit much for your frame) **sighs Can I marry you? Your lady has it made.
**Unsolicited advice... drink lots of water and cut out processed sugar. You'll be amazed how far that alone goes.
