Wait, weren't you way into Volcas for a minute? Shouldn't you just set up a couple of those for you to play along to?
I asked this same question so I will answer. He doesn't have them anymore.oldangelmidnight wrote:Wait, weren't you way into Volcas for a minute? Shouldn't you just set up a couple of those for you to play along to?
Also the volcas aren’t straight up backing tracks, per se. invisible man recorded drums for some of my tracks and he just fucking nailed it, so I want to capture that energyoldangelmidnight wrote:Wait, weren't you way into Volcas for a minute? Light it in fire. Turn it into video for your backing track.codetocontra wrote:I heard InvisbleMan will be a ...slaaaaaaaave 4 u
Also, no one suggested lighting your flame shirt on actual fire for your light show. So there, I did.
Light a flame shirt on fire on video and you get cool visuals for five minutes. Light a flame shirt on fire that you're wearing onstage and you'll have cool visuals for the rest of your life?odontophobia wrote:Light it in fire. In planning on using a kvlt ed100 to play the backing tracks which will consist of drums bass and ambient passagescodetocontra wrote:Yeah, sounds good GC.
An old band of mine used a Digitech JamMan Stereo for samples between songs. Worked great because the guy could band up/down and play/stop samples all with his feet. We could record or sample whatever and load it in with a computer.
I forget what The Austerity Program does live, sampler of some sort IIRC. Pretty sure they don't bring Roland out on tour. But the drums get their own amp and speakers. I will look it up later.
