I want this but I'm worried I'll get it and think "I should have just kept my El Cap"

This is all looking very good function-wise and sounding good.

Here's another good demo by Zach:

This is the first Strymon I've really wanted, damn. Problem is I don't want to sell the two delays + Ghost Echo that it would replace. Whelp, maybe somewhere down the road...

I'd probably still keep a reverb around, unless you can run the spring by itself and it sounds good enough to warrant doing so.

I also don't want to upgrade from my PT Jr, and this plus the multi switch would take a big chunk of real estate. Unless I just left the multi off the board, or skipped it completely. The extra functionality looks fun but I feel like I would need to learn the pedal itself first

I'm definitely getting a Volante. Need to make a slighty bigger board though, but not bigger than it still fits in the Pelicase.

You’ve got your board in a Pelican case? I wanna see!

Yeah! Been doing it for about a year now. I got the 1510 case, which is a nice size.
Can fit a lot of stuff, but also keeps my boards from getting too big. And it can be a carry-on on a plane ride.
And since I don't drive a car, wheels is a nice thing.

I don't have a picture of my board in the case, but I found this pic of my board, along with some other gear AND the case.

This was from a house-show where I played solo. Except from the bow and banjo, everything was in the Pelicase during travel.
At the last gig I did I brought my board, Boomerang III+exp pedal and a Quilter 101 in the case.

Can take a pic of the board IN the case at rehearsal on tuesday.

Mine arrived yesterday. (Ordering direct from Strymon was like $50 cheaper than the cheapest Used listing I saw on Reverb.)
It is... extremely good.
