The op-1 really died in a car accident. During the wreck it hit a woman who lost her leg. They couldn't let the op-1 not exist...the demand is at the highest.
Op-1 married that woman with one leg. Op-1 will do the next James bond theme. Kerry King will let the secret term "off-1" slip before he passes away. Pocket Operator will be a successful fashion designer and accept "off-1" to protect the business. It has been seen.

They sent out an email to their subscribers saying it isn't discontinued and that they are "updating the hardware platform" to keep it alive for many years to come.

I was one of the initial 500 (was it 500?) backers when it first came out. Had fun with it for a while but its been on semi-permanent loan to a friend for the last few years.

I sold my OP-1 today. Haven't really used it in the last 3 months or so. Might pick up another one down the line, especially if they ever end up making a revision, but I find myself more drawn to the guitar as of late or just using my iPad.

It really is an amazing piece of kit. I've never owned one, or really wanted one, but it's definitely a 10/10 piece of gear.
