I've never messed with a Warped Vinyl, so I can't speak to the comparison, but, yeah, it's pretty cold. It's not the slamdunk for me that the Tonal Recall and Brothers are, but I still like it a lot so far.

If we're looking beyond straight tremolo, a gristleizer makes for a nice trem with a lot of character if you just want something that sounds cool but you don't need a lot of bells and whistles.

Is it as cold sounding as the Warped Vinyl MkII? The WV MkII is the only CBA pedal that I tried and it wasn't for me (too cold).
Definitely not cold IMO. But it's trem not chorus/vibrato so maybe that's it.

WV Mk. 1 wasn't cold FWIW.

I like the original Warped Vinyl better than the MKII.

I like the Suhr Jack Rabbit, it has various nice waveforms.

I just use the chop function on my ZVex loop gate. It does that on/off thing that I like (with some boost/gain after), but wish it could go faster and stuff. So I want a dedicated tremolo. Been toying with the idea of putting two different circuits in one box with separate ins and outs, since I have a stereo setup. I don't necessarily want one trem that can do it all, although a Gravitas, Sneak Attack or, dare I say - GOATKEEPER would be nice to have.

GOATKEEPER will be mine, someday
uhhh...trem function on the JUDDER! The two percentages of the time cut is super sweet sounding
I find amps have better sounding? tremolo than pedals, buuut whatever that makes no sense but does or somthing....silence at a broad curve that inverts into smaller pings of silence...wtf is tremolo anyway? gristleizer i would not call trem, but chop.....lets get technical and stuff.

i need to make space on my board to fit an earthquaker disaster transport sr. i'm going to sell my mf-102 i think (tough decision because prices could sky rocket since they're no longer being made). i'll be happy with the minifooger tremolo, yeah?

Tremolessence - ultra rad with extreme settings, made by a guy who doesn't love us anymore
SupaTrem - lovely sine wave throb but made by a dickbag
Twin Stags - quirky double trem made by a rad guy and gal who still love us
TR2 - basic bitch tremolo does the job ok with a slight volume drop on older ones
only tremolo I own now is in my Twin, might be it's best quality actually but I hate the amp and it needs to go
always wanted to try a Gravitas (insert my usual bitching about double stomp narrow enclosures)
