Are you sure that they are actually using 200 pedals? can't you get that same sound with like 4 or 5?

I was listing though JBL monitors as well as a quad bose setup with a sub... I feel nothing.

I agree. But thats sort of the point. Accessibility equals "we have to do it". Also a good part of the all edge no point is that I all the time thought we where breaking a world record. Not that it makes it less gimmicky, sort of the opposite. It puts a exclamation mark on the gimmicky and we all laugh together.
Thats also why the video is captured as it is. Showing how its just stressful and heavy duty to do it and how even the counting itself turns into a really tough experience leaving us all empty inside and not inspired at all. I think its powerful for what it is if looked at from the right perspective.
Sadly thats only amplified by the fact that it wasnt a world record. Found this music store who had done over 700 after we had filmed this. I dont like doing research cause its often uninspiring and in this case it just ads to the emotional punch that this packs in its pointlessness.
Anyways, next up is 1000 pedals. Thats the only scenario I want to try it again cause at that point it goes full 360 on gimmicky and becomes awesome and then back to gimmicky again. Its like a slapstick at that point! The goal would be to have a actual official from guinness world record on sight to even further stamp it as idiotic!
Doing a video with "all my pedals" as well but more in the realm of "making actual music".
