Everything becomes Boards of Canada when you run it through that thing.
Mix it with the instant lofi junky and it's on!
Good call.

Running pristine TR808 beats through and sending the result to a distant echo effect of some sort also has me pretty bothered right now.

I will definitely keep an eye out for these, thanks for the demos.

Was not at all expecting to give a shit about this one, to be honest. Verb & fuzz. Obviously awesome things but I totally have those covered, in spades. Apparently not.

EDIT - must also add that I've probably watched this video 10 times since I first saw it this weekend.

Now: I didn’t know what I didn’t know that I didn’t know.

Bonus round: and now I want a Dude Incredible too for Action Park sounds.

How does it compare to the RM1N?

It's totally different. The fuzz on the Beholder is thicker and a bit less refined unless you mess with the trimmers (which I did). The best thing about the Beholder however is it doesn't make that annoying fucking ticking noise the RM 1N does.

So, IMO they are pretty different. I've had a Beholder for quite awhile now and John upgraded mine to current specs.

I messed with the trim pots a little bit too. Backed off the drone volume and decreased the reverb signal a little bit. The pre delay was messing up my brain a little so I had to kill it. So what do you think, having been playing with one for a while?

I love the pedal but it gets a little muddy sometimes. It's perfect for doom metal and ambiance. If you're trying to play tight and fast though, it is not going to happen with this pedal. lol

I like the trimmer set to allow the fuzz to come through a bit more than normal.

I finally got around to editing this video... half of it was just crazy noise so I tried to condense it into the pretty sections, haha. Looking forward to the new one, no doubt!

It's a cool pedal but still won't knock off the Black Lodge from my board. This is probably the first video I'll have to shut down the comments on, lol.

The Drolo Moon Rabbit ... Another reason why I'm not sure I didn't like phasers. All of the "normal" sounds are there (phaser/vibrato). Some of my favorite settings are the random steps with a faster speed and the ramp up with a slower speed. This is the first pedal I've owned from Drolo and it's pretty impressive.
