^^^I expressed similar thoughts about 'lifetime warranties'. When I see a company that just started or is six months old and positioning their product around a "lifetime warranty"...I can't help but think "Yeah...okay....make it through your first tax season, then we'll talk"
If you see "lifetime warranty" in a kick-starter campaign, I hope deductive reasoning kicks in.

For fun, "reason's I won't buy from a company that are not indicative of the company"

1. I already own too many of their offerings (literally happened with three brands this week

) and I want to give another company a chance
2. Their products are too popular (I'm the worst with this

)
Generally speaking, I kind of hate being on pre-order lists. That's my own fault though. So if I see pre-order, or 'to be built', I'm out (going forward

).
I also get weary when companies position themselves on "the best customer service". This is a different rant though.
I have the unfortunate problem of thinking there are too many cool things on the market currently.

Chank is a great forumite but I'm sure he loves more posters than just me.
Speaking of Soyboys, John Jacobs (of CroMags fame) wrote a book called "meat is for pussies." About going vegan. I wonder if Bossman has read it? Might elucidate some things for him (and others).
It's John Joseph, who I am acquainted with (as in we know eachother) having been a huge Cro Mags fan back in the 80's and 90's. And I was vegan for 15 years, but went back to meat when I realized brains are made of fats that are better created from the raw materials of grass-fed meats and dairy and that we need and collagen only obtained from the bony and cartilage filled parts of the animal. I still eat a hell of a lot of raw veggies and juice every day. After many years in the music business, I'm currently a professional gardener and permaculture farmer. That hopefully should satisfy the progressive checklist.

Nah, was just one soy boy on the path with a lot of other ones that came before and after.

I point that out to people a lot. The 'theory' (I'm not a scientist) that our brains grew because we were not evolved predators and wound up eating the leftover bones of animals.
When I am on point with my diet (which has absolutely not been the case lately cause some weeks...I crush donuts like it's a job) I eat similar to you. I probably eat meat at every meal but I know I also eat more veggies in a day than the average person. When I'm on point usually a kale and fruit smoothie starts my morning after a run.

Awesome man. I never heard that theory but it makes sense. I only recently was turned on to collagen from a really weird and underground book called "Forbidden Healing" which mainly deals with electron replacement with VItamin C and oxygenation with bicarbonates, but also talks a hell of a lot about fats, oils, cartilage, bones etc. Your theory may be a sound one for sure. I do know that going back to meat worked for me personally, but I also recognize that raw, fresh organic fruits and veggies are king too. On my farm in Puerto Rico I grow all sorts of exotic fruits and have an extensive orchard. That place will be my homestead when I retire. And I hope to really kick into eating 100% from my farm to table then, This glyphosate-ridden trash we eat here has caused serious damage in the population.

heres a good argument for humans being primarily carnivores that function best on lots of fat which explains big brains in humans. Cortisol levels drop in the body by about 30% on a very low carb diet.
carbohydrates...

Great Video. Thanks for posting. Lot's of good insight in this. I stopped eating all grains about a year ago and a lot of bad things dissapeared. My joints stopped hurting, I stopped having blood sugar crashes, stopped taking naps, got a lot more energy and brain fog went away. Maybe John Joseph's book should be retitled "GRains are for Pussies."

I like a good steak as much as the next guy, but you can have my bread when you pry it from my cold dead hands. I make my own fresh bread at home and it's everything good in this world, like getting a hug from your mom.

I feel you man. Although I will never eat a grain every again, no one is trying to take your bread away. Eat as much as you want and enjoy every last morsel. There really is nothing quite like fresh bread so I'm sympathetic. In Europe they have the best fresh bread. I don't think they use glyphosate there which makes it a lot less harmful than the store-bought crap here. My only suggestion, made respectfully, is to find the freshest, organic wheat you can. This way you avoid glyphosate (round up) which is a major poison.

I'm not worried, I've got small children, my pantry is a fucking fortress. No one is getting that bread unless I dispense it. I'm the breadmaster of my castle.

How'd you get involved with gardening and permaculture? I've been curious about these for some time but don't know much about them.
