There's some fretted bass after 2:40 & 4:30.

The best overall demo I've heard, though, belongs to the Pedal Zone (B Y F A R). I still think this pedal is best with drum machines.

Yeah if it were ever possible to do this Itd be perfect for me.
But I imagine we'd benlooking at some kind of digital interface for the polyphony that sent out put to analog paths.
It would probably be expensive.
If anyone at EHX has a scrap of decency they'll be figuring out ways to use their polyphonic technology for good in this sort of an application right now.
I mean, lets face it, theyve ben trailing the hot pedal trends with affordable and ugly versions for some time now.

Polyphonic versions of this effect already exist. They're called digital pitch shifters and fuzz pedals. All the character and charm of the PLL comes from it being monophonic. If you "fixed" the monophonic problem all the chaos and cool stuff goes away.

Thats kind of what I figured.
What happens with a PLL when you try to play chords and sweeps etc?
Is it interestig and kinda cool or just hot garbage?

I have described it as hot garbage elsewhere but it depends on what you think it cool. Chords of any type immediately spit out uncontrolled junk tones. The audio equivalent of one of those infomercial montages where people cant do simple tasks.

Dang.
I was hoping for a quirky but redeemable glitch/warble/dogfight effect like when the old whammy versions lost their tracking.

This clip sounds like its almost entirely the squarewave fuzz and not very much of the sub octave or oscillator at all.

Yeah, there's not a lot of weirdness going on there.

I kind of liked that. If you didn't know what it did, when you first plugged in you'd think it was the worst fuzz ever.
