Re: I Did a DRUM Demo of the New Cooper FX Outward So Here
Borrowed a GoPro camera (small, durable, high-impact cameras for extreme sports--also good for musicing) and plan to record some stuff tonight for drums.
After wasting the day watching videos, I'm torn on how to film it. The head/body mount stuff is rad for POV, but can be shaky. Better to do stationary filming or wear it?

If you plan on doing any backflips off the drum stool, wear it on your head.

That should sound fantastic. I'm curious about how the hold function will respond to drums.Invisible Man wrote:(and the Particle that's on it's way from your place is the next thing I wanna run some drums through.)

Try several shots with GoPro.
Mount on head (neck is a steady-cam) and then try mounting it on drumstick (epileptic seizures are a form of "special effect").
(do not watch this in a dark room if you are prone to epilepsy (I'm completely serious))

Some art films you either like or not. Paul Sharits tended to go for more of an assaultive approach.Teej212 wrote:i think you should rephrase that as dont watch this ever anywhere if youre anyone
In watching it becomes impossible not to have a physiological reaction.

Hella, as the kids say round these here parts
This course, a perpetual alternation of determining what is true, and then setting aside this determining, constitutes, strictly speaking, the steady everyday life and activity of perpetual consciousness, a consciousness which fancies itself to be moving in the realm of truth.

Is there something like an old Roland electric drum kit that could be used as a trigger to engage these effects?Invisible Man wrote:https://soundcloud.com/invisible-man-mu ... icle-drums

More smack and less stomp could be cool (but these are already pretty cool).
