Pretty cool indeed. Gonna sell my blue sky tomorrow. Absolutely.
The ottobit is rad. But I still have to wrap my hear around the oto biscuit.

I'm so hard that I might split like a hot dog in the microwave and spray dick chunks everywhere.

This Ottobit jam sounds really good (don't know why I'm posting it in the Mercury7 thread):

Seance wrote:Even in Canada the Bitrazer seems like it can be had at a pretty reasonable price (about $125 US).
So... might be worth a dip into a mega-music store retailer for a looksee listen.
Where do you people find these for this kind of prices ?
In their home country they're about $400...
At $125 I'd get one right away...

Ouch, sorry man--the prices on all the Aira units are down in US, but not everywhere. Still there's enough stock being cleared on EBay to find the Torcido and Bitrazer at $140 or less, and even Demora and Scooper below $200.... Not sure if it's just a case of certain merchants having over-bought @ launch and needing to make space for newer items, or a more permanent move away from the Airas.... Me, I'm thinking about completing the set, though I just might rather have two Bitrazers than a Bitrazer & Torcido b/c the Torcido has one fewer knobs/griffs/whatever Roland calls 'em.
Maybe the Airas are a bigger hit in Japan?

Proaudiostar is the one selling them cheap. Most other places still have them at regular retail.
I can't tell is it is a phase out or something weird proaudiostar did (like buy a bunch of defects/refurbished units, phase out, or they just over bought).

Yeah--I think you're right, I guess I ended up conflating some used and open boxes from others with an actual market trend. Still, all the more reason to jump awn it, if you're inclined.
And sorry Chankgeez--for my sins of thread piracy I present myself before the mast.
Liking the Ottobit even more after that demo....

Nah, proaudiostar claims they are new....But, you know, these big eBay sellers are sometimes questionable (I've had good luck with proaudiostar). Companies like alto, pitbull, etc deal a lot in refurbished and customer returns.
I know when Dave Smith has discontinued his synths, proaudiostar blew them out before everyone else (like mophos at $200-300 less than everyone else).
Yea, sorry here too Chankgeez.
(I'm digging the Meris stuff more than most of the rest of this digital wave).

Hey, you guys don't have to apologize to me. I'm probably not gonna buy the Meris stuff.
I just like the way the Ottobit sounds. I think it's too feature-laden for lil' ol' me.

Have we heard this Ottobit snippet? Lil straighter than the one Chankgeez just posted, but a nice slice nonetheless....
