This. For me it's delay, samplers/loopers, and reverb

It sounds kinda gated and shit.
I almost never used it because it sounds godawful when not used with the filter.

I said it in the other thread, I'd probably be much more hyped about it if I hadn't already built three. :whateva:
I definitely lean towards cleaner filters with more control, myself. The Evil Filter sans fuzz is definitely my jam, but not my $300+ jam.

I'm not totally sure how many fuzzes I have… I tend to love really synthy ones :)*

Delay with everything. You sound like you're always ripping off Devin Townsend and Deftones - but it's great fun.

I was into Reverb mostly, but the trend of super pristine and modulated Verbs kind of makes me cringe now.

Delay always on doesn't make me sound like either of those two.

If it did, I'd want to listen to them!

Actually I love all kinds of effects - except tone colouring compressors. I adore the BOSS LM-2 Limiter, but all the other compressors I have tried throughout the years were unsatisfying. Apart from that I love them all: fuzz, modulation, filters, synth pedals, ... gimme! :animal:

I have too many boutique pedals to keep me occupied to ever do this but in a parallel universe I would be a junky of 90's and early 2000's multi effect modeling pedals. I still have my DIGITECH RP200A and I am surprised what I was able to get out of it (pseudo rainbow machine type sounds, swells, space stationesq sounds). I got mine for 150 in 2003 (and it came with the power supply!). They go between $20-40 now.

I would comb eBay and reverb and make the lowest possible offers and try to pick up stuff like that for nothing, line them up and go wild. It would take forever with the menu diving madness though.

Other than that I am a high gain ugly distortion junky like DRodriguez

Ligh to medium overdrive. I've been trough a lot of those looking for the best one for me. Started around 1989.

Bitcrushing/sample rate reduction/bias crackling/probably broken but still cool as shit type stuff.

I, especially, love pedals that do that on purpose in a way that's just screwed up enough to sound cool but not so screwed up that it doesn't lend itself to be musical.
This is pretty accurate. Add "anything to make everything more angular than it otherwise would be without it" and you got me.
