At home I either just use a TU-2 or a sample tone when I'm by my computer. Have a couple of clip-on tuners (Snark, Reverb tuner) that I never use and the batteries always seem to die quickly.
Bought a Polytune 2 a couple years ago for shows because it is so much faster than the TU-2 between songs. I hate having to take a tuning break and kill the vibe of a set. It's been pretty reliable so far but I don't even use the poly mode. Pretty sure it doesn't work for Bass VI anyways.

It does actually. I tune my VI with a polytune mini.

Damn, that's good to know.
Although my Bass VI stays in tune shocking well so I really just tune it one string at a time before the set and then maybe tune one or two in the middle as needed. Staytrem bridge did some great things for me there.

I was thinking about that as well honestly but the lack of the power output is making me question it
I really like using the power out

I use a tiny Korg headstock tuner, except for when I accidentally fling it somewhere, when I use the tuner from my Boss ME-80, or a Donner mini pedal tuner, which doesn't track that well below e-standard, but does ok if you point it in the right direction.

I've been contemplating about ditching my tuner to just my pitchfactor but I dont know if its fast enough. I've been pretty wary about it for some reason haha

I tune by ear when I first put strings on. It's amazing how close I can get after playing for so damn long.
When I actually want to tune (who does that anyway?), I use my H9. If I didn't have that, I'd use a Polytune most likely or a Pitchblack.

TC Polytune, the original white one. never had any problems with it. it lives off the board now, and i just plug into it before i start to get everything on pitch.
