The malekko spring, the little pink guy, is what I would grab any time I wanted a great sounding little spring verb, though at the moment I'm using a cavernous and it's basically the best. I was just surprised no one had mentioned malekko yet

I had one, sold it. It did sound pretty good, tho... I think I personally just won't be happy with spring sounds that don't involve actual springs, or at least that's what my experiences have led me to believe. We'll see how I feel about the Space's spring.

Speaking of real ones, has anyone messed around with the Moisturizer much? (I know UG has, zero surprise there—who else?). Quite a fetish object, that thing.

If I were to buy another reverb it would probably be an RV-2. If I were to buy a reverb for spring it would be a real springs type thing, like the above ones. Don't know how the spring is on the TC trinity but it has some pretty good halls

Oh I've also owned the Original Spring Chicken and the Chicklet. Kind of regret selling the SC as it was easily to adjust with the foot. The chicklet was ok but had reliability issues. Never tried the Spring though.

My Space arrived yesterday. It's pretty damn impressive.

One of the most notable, convenient features I see right off the bat: visual feedback for what knob you're turning. With something like the Empress, you have to remember what does what with respect to different presets/types, which I don't think I'd ever successfully retain.

So yep, Space seems very deep, but pretty easy and intuitive to use. I've just scratched the surface, but very happy so far.

Re: earlier suggestions of tank-in-a-pedal type things, I've liked the sounds I've heard but shied away due to big size / limited variety of function. If I had a stripped down pedal setup and had a little more room, I'd be all over em.

The Zoom MS-70CDR has a ton of nice reverbs. U can use up to 6 fx at the same time ...

As of right now my favorite reverb is the EHX Holy Grail Plus. It sounds great through the fx loop and its spring setting can hold its own against a real spring reverb (at least against peavy express 112 or fender deluxe 85) ...
