In general, it just seems uninspired but I suspect it's going to do all the right things for certain players.

That player just isn't really the ILF demographic.

Now if it were purple....

Did Strymon fix the issue on the El Cap where the trails would drop out when you tapped in a new tempo?

Is this an April Fools joke that strymon is throwing at us?

"Let's get the most boring person we know to do a demo of an overdrive pedal we came up with. Let's throw some lingo in there and charge $300 a pop. I'll bet you $50 it will sell like crazy." Excerpt from strymon marketing meeting.

Not sure purple'd be of any help to this pedal. :D :idk:

Yellow is the opposite of purple so it seems to make sense.

I love TGP
I'm sure we'll see Riversides P&Wing all over the place in a few months. Everyone else will stick to their Rats and/or Metal Zones.
I honestly want to try a boss metal zone bc all the hate it gets. I have a feeling it'll be the next HM-2 anyway so I might as well invest

I had one years ago. I sold it to fund more delay and verb. I think it would deliver from a textural standpoint.

lots of praise for modded metalzones.

Pat O' Brien from Cannibal Corpse supposedly boosts his triple rectifier with a metal zone, and CC's live guitar tone is brutal as fuck

They use the metal zone when they do coffee house gigs.

The namesake, possibly?

Not much of a Beat Farms fan, but this one was on the RAD soundtrack.

Dudes, gain down the metal zone is in effect an insanely powerful parametric eq with a fuckload of gain on tap.

Crowbar use/d them that way as a boost/eq as well.

Recommended.

They really shine when used with a high gain amp doing its work. Pedal gives just a touch of drive, using the eq to find where the amp is already voiced and then slamming it with volume. MT-2 drive is fizzy unless modded.

Honestly I don't think it sounds that bad from what I've heard. I need a bass demo though. I'd hit it used if it sounds good on bass.
