Ha, yesss. Funny to see him in here, but of course he's got some serious fucking bile. This one's a favorite... pissed off for sure, but beyond that it's one of the meanest songs I've ever heard.SPACERITUAL wrote:To be perfectly honest though I've always been surprised dylan managed to omit the word "cunt" from this song. Possibly one of modern musics biggest fuck yous???

Oh he's got some seriously pissed off songs. "I'm Not Angry" is one of my favorite of his more ornery jams.Aquietcabin1978 wrote:Maybe not the most pissed but "my aim is true" by Elvis Costello is a pretty spiteful at least.
Haha yes... and this is a total joke, but it's nonetheless amazing. And I LOVE the idea of rednecks out there thinking this is real:Iommic Pope wrote:And is conveniently juxtaposed by Sad and Lonesome Dude Country
Oh yeah the last track, ok. That album blends together for me since I usually just listen to it start to finish. Love me some Unsane, and they're definitely part of the reason I don't really play loud guitar music live anymore -- I can't be that fucking scary.More_Divebombs wrote:Nah, the song called "Get off my back" from Scattered Smothered Covered, where the only words are "Get off my back". Chris was just stomping back and forth as his guitar just sort of dangled and hit the ground, monitor, mic stand etc, he'd punch it a few times, give it a shake, then bellow "GET OFF MYYYYYY BACK!!" right in someones face, cos there was no stage. I've been to a bunch of hardcore shows, but just never seen vitriol as genuine as that. He just scowled through the whole show. He occasionally appeared at the side of the stage during the opening bands, and he'd be scowling there, pressed-down eyebrows practically overlapping his line of sight. It looked like his eye-brow muscles had grown their own muscles.D.o.S. wrote:Oh shit that might be a winner.
(it's 'get off my block,' though, if you're talking about Alleged... I think?)
Loco, mate.
As an abashed fan of sad country I can fully get behind that song.popvulture wrote:Oh he's got some seriously pissed off songs.
